Welcome! This is the first time the Taranaki Festival of the Arts has been held during the winter and we are warming the region up with a programme of shows and activities that will thaw even the coolest of hearts!
This year’s performances feature a sensational circus, glorious contemporary and classical music, stunning dance and thought-provoking theatre and comedy.

Nomade – At night, the sky is endless
This night time carnival filled with song, dance and acrobatic feats is a treat for the senses with circus artists from across the globe performing heart-stopping numbers on the bascule, the banquine and Russian bar.

Eddi Reader’s technical brilliance and exquisite voice has made her one of popular music’s most exhilarating performers.

Berkoff’s Women (UK)

Berkoff’s Women is a bold and daring portrayal of women, exploring sensuality, revenge, pathos, heart-breaking loneliness and riotous humour.

Micheline van Hautem and Frederik Caelen (Belgium)

Micheline van Hautem abandons herself to the passion of Jacques Brel’s repertoire alongside her musical partner and virtuoso accordionist, Frederik Caelen.
