It’s time to relax and put your feet up Taranaki, because we’re bringing music into the heart of homes.
The House Gigs are three intimate concerts that take place in someone’s living room.
The Pop-Up Gigs Network has been presenting concerts in lounge for the last two years, playing host to touring musicians from throughout the world.
The informal setting means performers and audience get to talk, eat and drink with each other in a relaxed, cosy environment.
The entertainment kicks off with Laura Griffiths, a talented young songstress who has recently broken onto the scene. She will entertain audiences with her soulful voice and well written songs.
Then comes Glass Boat, a duo that delivers well-crafted songs, fine musicianship and mesmerising harmonies. From ballad to folk blues, Glass Boat is a toe-tapping explosion of talent.
Member Missie Moffat is known for her unique voice and jazzy style, while fellow performer Matt Herrett has been highly praised for his finger-picking guitar playing style.
House Gigs are presented in partnership with Taranaki’s Pop-Up Gigs Network, curated by Anand Rose.
