Sonic Delusion and Adrian Whelan

New Zealand/Aotearoa
House Gigs

It’s time to relax and put your feet up Taranaki, because we’re bringing music into the heart of homes.

The House Gigs are three intimate concerts that take place in someone’s living room.

The Pop-Up Gigs Network has been presenting concerts in lounge for the last two years, playing host to touring musicians from throughout the world.

The informal setting means performers and audience get to talk, eat and drink with each other in a relaxed, cosy environment.

Adrian Whelan from Tipperary, Ireland, creates an engaging atmosphere with his soulful voice and music.

He will be followed by Sonic Delusion, who is often described as too funky for folk and too folky for funk.

A vibrant, high-energy live performer, Sonic Delusion (Andre Manella) blends dynamic layers of rhythm, tones, bass lines and vocals.

Come along and listen to his funky latin-infused, pop-laced, electro-acoustic folk.

House Gigs are presented in partnership with Taranaki’s Pop-Up Gigs Network, curated by Anand Rose.
